David Daniel Trammell
1933-2015
David Daniel Trammell, 81, a Moses Lake resident, was called to be with our Lord on Thursday, January 1, 2015. David was born on July 21, 1933 to Tito and Melita Trammell in Mora, New Mexico. He was the eldest of 11 children. He died peacefully at home with his family at his side.
Dad, as he was known to his children, was deeply loved, admired and respected by all his family and friends. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Nancy Trammell. They were married in 1952 in Pico Rivera, Ca. Dad's main priorities and interests were Nancy and his faithful dog, Amigo.
Dad was a dedicated career employee with Pacific Bell in California. He retired on April 30, 1991; with 40 years of service as an inside switchman. He belonged to the Telephone Co. Pioneers and TOPS Club. He and mom took motor home trips visiting 30 states including a month long caravan trip through Alaska. He also enjoyed bowling, fishing, golf, boating and camping. What was very special to Dad was the time he spent with mom in square and round dancing for over 25 years. Dad is also survived by 4 children: Deanna Pryor (Steve) Moses Lake, WA.; Cindy Kambourian of Draper, UT; Lori Avellana (Bert) Orange, CA.; Jon-Alan Trammell (Robin) Moses Lake, WA.; 12 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; 5 brothers, 5 sisters and their spouses. Dad was preceded in death by his sons: Mark Daniel Trammell, 11 years and Glenn Roger Trammell, 41 years.
A private memorial will be held for the immediate family. Dad will be missed greatly by all who loved him.
