Notice of Postponed Public Hearing

Notice is hereby given that a Subdivision application, SEPA Checklist, and Variance application that were originally scheduled for a public hearing on January 14, 2014 have been postponed. Applicant: Port of Mattawa (Contact: Jeff Curtis, PO Box 956, Mattawa, WA 99349. PROJECT: To develop a 20 lot industrial/commercial plat from 37.9 acres (currently two parcels). Eight of the proposed lots have existing commercial or industrial development. A variance has also been applied for in order to allow a reduced front setback (20.7 feet) in the Urban Commercial 2 zone for an existing building. Grant County Code ยง 23.12 requires a 35' front setback. LOCATION: The project site is located in the northwest corner of the intersection of Rd. 24 SW and Hwy 243, immediately west of the City of Mattawa. The site is further located in a portion of the SE _ of Section 34, Township 15 North, Range 23 East, W.M, Grant County, WA. Parcel #s 31-3508-000 & 15-0224-025. ZONING: Urban Commercial 2 & Urban Light Industrial. PUBLIC HEARING: When the Hearing is rescheduled additional notice will be provided. CONSISTENCY STATEMENT: This proposal is subject to and shall be consistent with Grant County Code, International Building Code, and International Fire Code.
