Bryan was born on Feb. 21, 1977 at Samaritan Hospital in Moses Lake, son of Ken and Barbara Jacobs of Moses Lake. He attended Moses Lake schools through high school, graduating in 1996. He played high school basketball and was on the golf team. Bryan then attended Washington State University from 1996 to 2000, majoring in Wildlife Biology. After college he was employed at Scotia Pacific in Scotia, California where he monitored wildlife in the Redwoods.
Bryan enjoyed fishing, being outdoors, golf and adrenalin rushes. He loved animals, especially his dog, Jinx.
