Legal Notice of Term Expiration, Franklin County Noxious Weed Control Board

All persons interested in appointment to the Franklin County Noxious Weed Control Board and residing in the sections with a pending nomination must obtain from the Franklin County Noxious Weed Board Office an application packet. The application form along with the signatures of at least ten (10) registered voters residing in that section supporting the nominations must be returned to the Franklin County Noxious Weed Control Board Office by 10am February 27, 2015 located at 502 Boeing St. Pasco WA 99301, 509-545-3847. This is a non-paid position.

The Board consists of five (5) voting members. At least four (4) of the voting members shall be engaged in the primary production of agriculture products.

Each voting member of the board shall serve a four (4) year term. The expiration date for any given term will be March 1. Director’s terms from Section one (1) Section four (4) and Section five (5) will expire March 1, 2015. Section one (1) consists of current voting precincts 1-69 (City of Pasco & Riverview Area) and also voting precincts 70-76, 100, and 101. Section four (4) consists of current voting precincts 88, 89, (City of Connell 90, 91, 92, 93, and 94) and voting precinct 95. Section five (5) consists of current voting precincts 96, 97 (City of Kahlotus).

The Franklin County Commissioners will appoint from nominations received by February 27, 2015.
