PROJECT: A Short Plat of approximately 40.04 acres in order to create two (2) lots from one existing parcel in the Agriculture zoning district of Grant County.

Notice is hereby given that a Preliminary Short Plat application received by Grant County on January 22, 2015 from KVM Farm LLC (Designated Contact: Jim Keyes, Prairie Land Surveying, 5134 Road E.7 NE, Moses Lake, WA 98837, 509-750-9133), was found to be technically complete on February 3, 2015. PROJECT: A Short Plat of approximately 40.04 acres in order to create two (2) lots from one existing parcel in the Agriculture zoning district of Grant County. As proposed, Lot 1 will be approximately 4.15 acres in size, and contains an existing single-family residence, garage, shop, well, and septic system. Lot 2 will be approximately 35.89 acres in size, is presently vacant, and will have no residential capacity. STUDIES REQUIRED: None. LOCATION: The subject parcel is a portion of parent Parcel #18-1216-000. The site address of the parent parcel is 22701 Road 5 NE, Moses Lake, WA. The subject parcel is located approximately 8 miles east of the city limits of Moses Lake, WA, and approximately 5.25 miles northeast of the intersection of Interstate 90 and Road U NE (Exit 188), and approximately 0.05 miles west of the intersection of Road 5 NE and Road U NE, and in the NE quarter of Section 11, Township 19 North, Range 30 East, WM, Grant County, WA. (Assignment of a Parcel Number to the subject parcel by the Assessor's Office is currently pending. The subject parcel will be #18-1216-001.) ZONING: Agriculture. PUBLIC HEARING: None. CONSISTENCY STATEMENT: This proposal is subject to and shall be consistent with Grant County Code, International Building Code, and International Fire Code. All persons, agencies, or tribes have the right to comment, receive notice, participate in any hearings, request a copy of the final decision, and/or appeal the decision as provided by law and County Code. This may be the only opportunity to comment on the above listed materials.
