April 27, 1921 - February 3, 2015

Doris Cain Trautman of Moses Lake, Wash. passed away peacefully on Feb. 3, 2015 in Golden Age Adult Family Home in Moses Lake, Wash. She was 93.

Doris was born April 27, 1921 in Harney County, Ore. to James and Leta (Cain) Williams. Doris graduated from Redmond Union High School. She was married to Stanley Dale Trautman on June 19, 1948 and they lived in Oregon and Washington during their many years of marriage.

Doris provided a loving and supportive home for her two sons and husband. She loved watching her grandchildren grow to adulthood and celebrated their achievements. In later years, she and her husband traveled around the U.S. visiting most of the states. She collected thimbles, cups and saucers, and other "pretties". She puttered around in her yard and for the last few years loved to occasionally go gambling, always staying within a budget, mind you. Always a lady, a petite little woman with a strength beyond words.

She was preceded in death by her husband Stanley Dale Trautman; her brothers Don Williams and Jess (Bud) Williams, and her sister Virginia Day.

She is survived by her sons, John Truett of Moss Lake, Wash. and Ron Trautman of Kennewick, Wash.; sisters Darline Morrison of South Beach, Ore. and Carole Hancock of Powell Butte, Ore.; grandchildren Trisha Truett of Spokane, Wash. and Taylor Truett of Bellevue, Wash.

May you rest in peace, we will always miss you and love you.

A Memorial Service for Doris will be held for the family sometime in the coming months.
