Patrick Timothy Ferrell, 65, of Moses Lake, Wash. died in his home on Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2015. He was born Dec. 9, 1949 in San Mateo, Calif. to Maxine Hazel (Franklin) and Ratcliff Floyd Ferrell, III.

He attended Marina Jr. High School in San Francisco, Calif., Redwood High School in Corte Madera, Calf., Santa Rosa High School, Santa Rosa, Calif. and graduated from Half Moon Bay High School in 1968, Half Moon Bay, Calif., Canada College - A.A. Degree, Redwood City, Calif. He lived in Newark, Calif., until 2009 when he moved to Moses Lake, Wash. Patrick served in the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged in August, 1970.

Patrick worked as an electronic wire engineer for Raychem Corp. in Redwood City, Calif. for 20 years before retiring. He was a lifelong fisherman; as a young man, he was an accomplished golfer - playing in several tournaments. He enjoyed playing American Indian flutes; he cared deeply about animals - giving a home to two rescued cats while living in Moses Lake.

Patrick is survived by one son Patrick Ferrell, of Calif., step-daughter Kristina Maryn of Eagle, Idaho; sisters Karen and husband John Jeninga of Moses Lake, Wash., Colleen Deal and her husband Chris Inama of East Palo Alto, Calif., Toni and her husband Robert Daily of Livermore, Calif.; step-sisters Donna Beck, Kathy Totten, Joanie Byrnes and Darlene Cave, all of the Santa Rosa, Calif. area; nieces Shannon and Sherri Netherby, of Calif., Theresa Ware and Nadine Osburn, of Tennessee and nephew Leon Goystowski; and extended family Ken Bay, Donna Smith, Karen and David Baye, Kevin and Christina Baye and Sarah Baye.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd Ferrell and Maxine Nally, step-parents Flo Ferrell and Robert Nally.

Viewing for family and friends will be held from 2 - 6 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2015 in Carver Family Funeral Home, 1217 E. Wheeler Rd., Moses Lake, Wash. Funeral Services will begin at 1 p.m., Thursday, February 5, 2015 in First Presbyterian Church, 1142 W. Ivy, Moses Lake, Wash. Burial with Military Funeral Honors will immediately follow in the Ephrata Cemetery, 333 E. St., SW, Ephrata, Wash. 98823
