October 17, 1933 - December 8, 2014

Margaret "Peg" Miller passed on to be with our Heavenly Father on December 8, 2014.

A memorial to honor her life will be held at Kayser's Chapel & Crematory in Moses Lake Saturday, February 7, 2015 at 10:00 am. Please sign the online guestbook or leave a note for the family at www.kayserschapel.com. Arrangements are in care of Kayser's Chapel & Crematory.

She was born in Greencastle, Pennsylvania to Stilwell and Ruth Humbert on October 17, 1933. She went to school to become a hairdresser and lived in various places finally settling in Enumclaw, Washington where she lived until 1982. While in Enumclaw she worked on her farm raising all types of animals especially her horses. Peg was involved with 4H, Scouts, and similar organizations with her children. She made a career change into the jewelry business when she married Donald "Don" Miller on November 12, 1981. She became certified with the GIA and earned several different certificates while working at Millers Jewelry. In 1982, Peg and Don moved to Moses Lake, Washington and opened Millers Fine Jewelers. They built a small farm and had several horses. Peg was very involved in Pony Club and several horse trainers used her facilities to provide riding lessons. She and Don traveled and grew the jewelry store bringing on Todd Leavitt and longtime watch repairman Jim Ganiere. Peg lost the love of her life in August of 1997 when Don passed away. She had a gregarious personality and loved talking to people and learning about their lives. She was a caring person that would drop anything to help a friend or even someone she just met. Her life was not without challenge; she had multiple run-ins with animals, farm life, and anything with a motor on it! She was equally able to give a cow a shot as she was taking a barn door off its hinge with a riding lawnmower. Peg enjoyed many activities including going to horse shows with her closest friend Charlotte, having family get-togethers on the farm, dancing with her boyfriend Thad, and spending time with friends.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, William Bear and her third husband, Robert Trask Sr. She is survived by her children and their spouses, grandchildren, great grandchildren and two sisters.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Rescare Homecare in Moses Lake for their exceptional care of Peg and to Moses Lake Senior Living and Assured Hospice for their support in her final days.

Mom always said she was going to ride again and I know you're up there with Don riding your horse right now. Rest easy, Mom.
