Laura Lee Chambers, 75, a resident of Moses Lake and formerly of Pasco, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2015 at Sacred Heart Medical Center, her family at her side. Family will greet friends from 5 to 7 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 29 at Kayser’s Chapel. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 30 at City View Cemetery in Pasco. Laura Lee Chambers was born on March 18, 1940 in Preston, Idaho to Orval and Laura Harris. She was one of 10 children. She graduated in 1958 from Preston High School. She met the love of her life, Buddy Lee Chambers, that summer at a company picnic. They were married on Nov. 20, 1959 in Fairview, Idaho. There first daughter, Bonnie, was born on Oct. 25, 1960 in Pocatello, Idaho. Two years later they were sealed for all time and eternity in the Idaho Falls Temple on March 25, 1962. They moved to Mountlake Terrace, Wash. in 1963. There their second daughter Kristie was born Aug. 20, 1966. They relocated to Moses Lake in 1974 and then to Pasco in 1979. There her husband passed away in 1998. She then moved back to Moses Lake to be closer to her daughters. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (second ward). She loved her family dearly and especially enjoyed time spent with her daughters, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved to crochet, doing ceramics and being a help to others.

She is survived by her two daughters and their spouses, Bonnie Hubbard (Duane) from Ephrata, Wash. and Kristie Carroll (Bruce) from Moses Lake, Wash.; brother Steven Harris; sisters Carma Hymas, Connie Garrett (Dick), and Marilyn Liechty (Milt); grandchildren Dustin Hubbard (Julia), David Hubbard, Holly Hubbard (fiancé Lucky), Kayla Goodman (Lance), Brenton Carroll-Trujillo (Tino) and Deven Carroll; great-grandchildren Natalie Hubbard, Jackson Hubbard, Kalhea Goodman, Mayci Matheson, Max Matheson, Pyper Goodman, Bentley Goodman, Levi Smith and Kenzi Smith and by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Buddy Chambers, her parents Orval and Laura Harris, brothers Bill, Ron and Morris and sisters Carole Fisher and Marlene Harris. She touched so many hearts and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
