IRRIGATION DISTRICT

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that between the hours of one o’clock p.m. and eight o’clock p.m. on Tuesday, December 8, 2015, there will be an election for Director of the South Columbia Basin Irrigation District for Director of Division No. 1; and

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that the polling places for Director of Division No. 1 have been designated by the Board of Directors to be the Basin City Fire Hall at 6725 Road 170, Basin City, and the Mattawa Watermaster headquarters at 18897 Road 24 SW, Mattawa.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that any qualified district elector who certifies that he or she cannot conveniently be present as his or her proper election precinct on the day of election may vote by absentee ballot, and that a ballot and form of certificate of qualification will be furnished to him or her on written request being made of the District Secretary. Director Division No. 1 is comprised of Irrigation Blocks 11, 20, 201, 21, 23, 24, 25, 26, 251 and 253.
