Ashtyn Alexander Zabala-Osborne
August 10, 2013 – November 30, 2015
Our sweet, sweet boy went to be with the Angels on November 30. He was surrounded by his loving family and held tight by his great-grandmother as he passed. Ashtyn was only 2 years old. He fought valiantly for life but the Angels needed him more. His father was by his side through the whole journey and was his strength. Ashtyn loved to dance and listen to music, a bright beautiful smile.
An Angel in the Book of Life wrote down Ashtyn’s birth.
And whispered as she closed the book, “Too beautiful for earth.”
Ashtyn was born August 10, 2013 to Phillip Osborne and Samantha Zabala-Davison. He spent half his brief life in Moses Lake, the second half in Spokane and Seattle.
Thank you to the doctors, nurses, and the anonymous bone marrow donor who tried to cure me, I love your giraffe.
You just arrived and now you are gone. A bright star, a bright love. Sleep in peace sweet baby until we are all together again. Keep me as the apple of the eye, hide me in the shadow of thy wings.
Ashtyn was preceded in death by his great-grandmothers Sally Zabala and Rita Osborne.
Ashtyn is survived by his parents Phillip Osborne and Samantha Zabala-Davison; his brother Ethan Osborne; his great-grandparents Nick Zabala, Barbara Richards, Guy and Shirley Richards and Ray Osborne; his grandparents Trish Zabala, Tiger and Shelley Davison and Wayne and Ronelle Osborne; great-uncles and aunts Audie and Timi Williams, Sam Zabala, Joey and Cammy Zabala, Rachel Osborne, Rob and Adrian Richards, Christy Loeffler-Jones and Nikki Loeffler; uncles and aunts Tristin Osborne, Noah Osborne, Kirsten Davison, Austin Davison, Amanda and TJ Shoemaker; and many cousins including Tina Trujillo, who watched over Ashtyn for many months.
