Harold “Jason” Butler, 43, lost his fight to brain cancer on Nov. 29, 2015. The family welcomes you to viewing from noon to 7 p.m., Friday, Dec. 4, 2015 at Kayser’s Chapel of Memories and to the funeral service at 2 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 5, 2015 at the Othello Seventh-day Adventist Church, 736 E. Elm Street. Please sign the online guestbook or leave a note for the family at www.kayserschapel.com. Arrangements are in care of Kayser’s Chapel & Crematory.

He spent most of his life in Warden, Wash. and spent the last couple of years in Ephrata, Wash. He was preceded in death by his younger brother BJ, his father Shorty, and his niece Clarice. He was proud to raise his two sons Blake and Austin with his wife and childhood sweetheart Charity by his side. He is also survived by his mother Sarah “Sue” Butler; sister Sheryl Butler; brothers Ernie (Terry) Butler, Randy (Lori) Butler, Steve (Anita) Butler, Troy Butler and Adam (Kathy) Butler. He had a large family of nieces and nephews and numerous friends whom he loved very much. Jason loved to watch the Detroit Lions (win or lose) and was very content just hanging out with his family and his pets, epecially his boxer Macaroni. He was a very loving and funny person and will be missed deeply. One comfort is to know that he was close to the Lord and said if we stay close to him too, we will see him again.

Instead of flowers, the family asked that donations be made to his GoFundMe accounts to help his family with the medical expenses.
