Teodora C. Lopez, 88, a resident of Moses Lake since 1969 passed away Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2015 at Samaritan Hospital, surrounded by loving family. Viewing will be held from 3 to 7 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 1 at Kayser’s Chapel of Memories and from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m., Wednesday, Dec. 2 at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church followed by Holy Rosary 9:30 a.m. and Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Pioneer Memorial Gardens.

Teodora was born Nov. 9, 1927 in Pearsall, Texas, daughter of the late Enrique and Conception Coronado. She was raised in Pearsall, Texas. She was married to Jesus P. Lopez on Jan. 30, 1942 in La Pryor, Texas. They lived in Crystal City, Texas until 1967, and then moved to Moses Lake, Wash. While in Moses Lake, she was employed at Sunspice and retired after 30 years.

Teodora was a very active member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. She and Jesus were among the founding members of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church Funeral Program.

She is survived by five children and their spouses: Jesus and Lupe Lopez, Grand Prairie, Texas, Oscar and Estelle Lopez, Warden, Wash., Guadalupe (Pino) and Lupe Lopez, Benito (Bene) and Goita Lopez, Silbia Lopez Adame, and daughter-in-law Maria Louisa Lopez, all in Moses Lake; one brother, Roberto and Consuelo Coronado, San Antonio, Texas; and one sister, Rosa Villegas, Houston, Texas. She has 35 grandchildren and spouses, 62 great-grandchildren, and 13 great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jesus P. Lopez, her son, Robert C. Lopez, her granddaughter, Marivel Lopez, and one grandson, Rolando Adame.
