Reserve officer academy is Nov 3

MOSES LAKE - If you've dreamed of being a law enforcement officer, the Sheriff's Office has an exciting but demanding way for you to learn if you are ready.

The Grant County Sheriff's Office (GCSO) has announced that its Reserve Officer Academy will begin Nov. 3.

Applications for the Reserve Officer Academy are available now for download at the sheriff's' website. The application process includes completion of the application forms, a criminal background check, a physical agility test, a written examination, and an oral interview panel, according to the sheriff's office.

The application deadline is Sept. 4 at 5 p.m.
