Glorian Galfano

Glorian Delila Galfano, 90, of Moses Lake, loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother, sadly passed away Aug. 22, 2015 in Moses Lake, WA. Visitation will be held at Kayser's Chapel of Memories on Thursday, August 27 from noon to 7 p.m. A Celebration of Life will be held at Warden Community Church on Friday, August 28 at 2 p.m. with Pastor Ed Backell officiating. Glorian was born in Warden, Wash. to Gotlieb and Salome Schutz on Oct. 6, 1924. She went to high school at Warden High School and graduated in 1941. Glorian was a lead singer in a band that traveled on the West Coast along with her first husband, Bill Sulser. After Bill's unfortunate premature death, she married Frank Galfano. Frank and Glorian settled in the Columbia Basin and operated restaurants for 35 years. Together, they opened The Roma Inn 1 & 2 (Moses Lake), bought the Blue Haven converting it to Galfano's (Ephrata) and went on to open Zack's Pizza Parlor (Quincy). She loved to sing songs of the big band era, "get prettied up", swing dance to Glen Miller, Benny Goodman and Tommy Dorsey and read historical romance novels.

After retirement, Glorian focused her energy on her family making incredible memories for her children, grandchildren and new friends at the family cabin in Plain, Wash. She became known for her cooking, entertaining, holiday candy/snack making traditions, birthday card list and supporting/loving her family always.

Glorian is preceded in death by her parents, Gotlieb and Salome; her two brothers, Royal and Herb; her five sisters, Rosalie Walz, Violet Nelson, Erna Kissler, Lilas Lang and Barbara Kinnunen; her son, Mike Galfano; her grandson, Dean Galfano and granddaughter, Regan Raymond.

Glorian is survived by her daughters, Linda (Hugh) Raymond and Patricia (John) Urban; her sons Steve (Dru) Galfano and Mario (Deanna) Galfano; her 13 grandchildren, Robert (Tina) Raymond, Rick (Amy) Raymond, Reed (Amy) Raymond, Ryan (Jana) Raymond, John (Cathy) Galfano, Jeff Dunlop, Tyler Dunlop, Alyse (Tony) Galfano-Henderson, Zack (Michelle) Galfano, Dustin Reynolds, Amber (Pedro) Galfano, Nicholas (Stefanie) Galfano; 23 great grandchildren, Jade Raymond, Gunner Raymond, Harley Raymond, Tyler (Danessa) Raymond, Taylor (Kylie) LaGrave, Cole Raymond, Morgan Raymond, Reise Raymond, Rhody Raymond, Jack Raymond, Tristen Raymond, Brooke Raymond, Olivia Galfano-Henderson, Sloane Henderson, Noah Galfano, Amoni Galfano, Sofie Galfano, Gauge Galfano, Iyzik Galfano, Nakia Reynolds, Lilli Reynolds, Elizabeth Dunlop and Elijah Dunlop and two great-great grandchildren, Sophia LaGrave and Beckam LaGrave.
