Soap Lake is a town to be proud of

Congratulations, kudos and thanks to Mayor Raymond Gravelle, Soap Lake City Council and the many people who worked long, hard and deliberative hours. We now proudly fly the beautiful flag of our United States: red, white and blue at the apex of our city.

We are proud of our miracle Soap Lake, of our "Calling the Healing Waters" sundial and our beautiful, rebuilt and lighted Main Street. We have a new business, Dollar & Up, similar to our past Olsen's Five & Dime store. Here you can find anything you might need and you don't have to walk miles.

I look back to the drafting of the grant for downtown Soap Lake and submitted a piece of that "pie." Since then the proposed chip seal facelift has turned into a beautifully, competently rebuilt city center. With leadership and elbow grease, we can do it.
