Maria A. Ezbenko, 101, a longtime Moses Lake resident went to be with the Lord on Friday, Aug. 14, 2015. She was at Columbia Crest Care Center, her family at her side.

Maria was born on April 12, 1914 in Armivir, Russia. She married George Ezbenko and they had six children.
She enjoyed knitting, sewing, cooking for her family, gardening, and spending time with family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George and two of her sons, Victor and Boris. Survivors include her four remaining children, Yourik Ezbenko of Moses Lake, Vassily (Seta) Ezbenko of Moses Lake, Luba (Whitey) Fomenko of Moses Lake, and Kathy (Henry) Jaramillo of Las Vegas and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
