PUBLIC HEARING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held by the City of Royal City Council in the city council chambers at City Hall, on September 1, 2015 at 7:00 pm.

The purpose of the public hearing is to review community development and housing needs, inform citizens of the availability of funds and eligibility uses of the state Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), and receive comments on proposed activities, particularly from lower income persons residing in the City of Royal City.

Up to $35,000 for a single jurisdiction or $40,000 for a multiple jurisdiction project may be available to the City of Royal City to fund a planning project that principally benefits low- and moderate- income persons.

An outline of the proposed Water Reclamation Facility Engineering Report project will be available for review at the City of Royal City, City Hall, 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, August 19 through September 1, 2015. Comments may also be submitted in writing to the City of Royal City, up to 7:00 pm September 1, 2015.

A Spanish speaking interpreter will be available. The city council chambers are handicap accessible. Additional arrangements to reasonably accommodate special needs will be made up receiving 24-hour advance notice.
