Youth mission team teaches order with Vacation Bible School

MATTAWA - The annual Mattawa Vacation Bible School was held at Hund Memorial Park last under the leadership of a Foster-Tukwila Youth Mission group.

The Foster-Tukwila Youth Mission come over from the west side every year to work with Mattawa children. VBS is designed with the understanding that children would come all week, in the middle or even toward the end.

The lessons built on each other as the VBS goes went the week, but they will also had a kind of independence. Each day offered something new something new.

The theme of this VBS was "SonSpark Labs". The idea was to teach how science can show that God's creation has an order and an underlying plan.

"The Bible tells us that the God of creation has an order and plan for each one of us and that we find that plan in Jesus," Riverside Pastor Dennis Evans said.
