Carl J. Presley

| April 8, 2015 1:45 PM

January 24, 1943 - April 4, 2015

Carl J. Presley, a longtime Moses Lake resident, was called home to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, April 4, 2015. He was born Jan. 24, 1943 in Bardley, Mo. to the late Odis and Grace Presley.

Carl loved the outdoors whether it was fishing and hunting or simply taking care of his yard and garden. There were many rabbit trails we traveled together while looking for the next lake and the "big one that got away." His love for family and friends showed in his faith and service to others. Carl loved spending time at the Moses Lake Presbyterian Church talking with Pastors Eric and Curt. He could often be found working on projects at the church or making sure the grounds were groomed for services.

He is survived by his wife of over 50 years, Jean; daughter Julie (Rob) Weisenburg; son David (Barbara) Presley; grandchildren Joshua and Brad Weisenburg, Codi (Don) Ruyts; grandchildren Dusty, Alisa and Ben Presley; and great-grandchildren Korbin and Skyler Ruyts. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers Paul Presley, Dauche Presley and William Presley; and infant daughter Linda Darlene Presley.

A viewing will be held Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at Kayser's Chapel from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. Services will be held Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at Moses Lake Presbyterian Church at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Guarding Angels Cemetery, Moses Lake.

Please sign the online guestbook or leave a note for the family at www.kayserschapel.com. Arrangements are in care of Kayser's Chapel & Crematory.
