Mable Celia LaBonte

Mable Celia LaBonte, 100 years, went to be with Jesus, Sept 20, 2014. She was blessed to pass in her daughter's home in Post Falls, ID. She was born in Belfield, North Dakota, on August 14, 1914 to Elmer and Katherine (Henry) Martin.

Mable married Dallas LaBonte on October 29, 1939 and they raised 5 children together.

She enjoyed reading, sewing, raising beautiful flowers, oil painting, dancing, and always keeping a neat home in their lakeside home in Moses Lake, Washington for 40 plus years.

Her husband, Dallas preceded her in death, May 2, 2000 at the age of 83 after 60 years of marriage. Mable lived by herself until 2005 when she went to live with her oldest daughter Michelle Talbot. In 2009 she traveled to Post Falls ID to live with her youngest daughter Faith Kalberg and her family.

Mable is survived by her son, Maure LaBonte and his wife Ruth of Spokane, WA, Michelle Talbot of Moses Lake, WA, Terri Torgerson and her husband Bill of Moses Lake, WA, Brenda Barber and her husband Jim of Spokane Valley, WA, and Faith Kalberg and her husband Robert of Post Falls. ID. 15 Grandchildren and 13 Great Grandchildren.

The family suggest memorials be made to River City Hospice, 3726 E. Mullan Ave., Post Falls, ID 83854.

A funeral service is planned for Saturday, October 4, 2014 at 2 PM with a visitation from 12 noon to 2 PM at Yates Funeral Home - Coeur d' Alene Chapel, 744 N. 4th St., Coeur d' Alene, ID.
