First kNIGHT Glow Run deemed a success by PTO

ROYAL CITY - Attracting 125 runners, the first kNIGHT Glow Run, on Sept. 13, was successful, says chairman Jessica Stewart.
The glow run started at the high school track, coursed through town and finished back at the high school. The first finishers were Curtis Grant and Hayden Huss in an unofficial time of 26 minutes and 14 seconds.
"Senior class support was awesome," Stewart said.
The run, a glow accessory stand and a concession stand were organized partially to raise funds for the senior class. The other beneficiary was the Royal PTO.
Stewart noted the REA (Royal Teachers Association) supplied all of the glow decorations and the participants' glow bracelets/necklaces.
"We also want to thank the Grant County Fire Disstrict No. 10-11 and the Royal City Police for their road blocks and general traffic help," Stewart said.

Brooklyn Dorsing - Best Glow Tail
Rhonda Scroggins - Best Female Glow
Curtis Grant - Most Flashy Glow
