Show your appreciation to Moses Lake businesses

| September 19, 2014 6:00 AM

When was the last time you thanked a Moses Lake business for meeting and exceeding your expectations?

Did employees provide exceptional customer service with a smile by quickly processing your order?

Was your meal delicious and well worth every penny?

Show your appreciation by nominating your favorite business or organization for the Cares Awards sponsored by the Moses Lake Business Association.

You can also nominate a volunteer or service organization for their efforts in making the community a better place.

Categories are Best Customer Service, Best Storefront, Best Bite (restaurants, eateries and other food businesses), Best Volunteer/Service Organization, Best New Business and Business of the Year.

There are many categories and different ways to show business owners and volunteer groups your appreciation.

Doing so helps recognize their efforts and gives these groups and businesses some well-deserved kudos and attention.

Nomination forms are online at www.mlbacares.org/mlba-best-of-2014 and can be completed in person by visiting Duda Insurance, at 606 W. Broadway Ave., Suite A, and Inland Cellular at 103 N. Stratford Rd., both in Moses Lake.

The deadline for nomination forms is the first week of October, according to an article in today's Columbia Basin Herald.

Nominators are eligible to win two tickets to MLBA's Art and Wine Walk on Oct. 11.

We encourage you to show your appreciation and nominate a business or volunteer group for their efforts.
