'Pink bunny' sentenced for selling drugs, banned from festivals

EPHRATA - A Seattle man was sentenced to a year in prison and banned from all outdoor music festivals after selling drugs during this year's Paradiso Music Festival at The Gorge Amphitheatre.

Nezar Brahim, 30, pled guilty to possession of and delivery of a controlled substance after he allegedly sold $150 worth of "Molly" or MDMA to undercover sheriff's deputies, according to the police report.

When arrested, Brahim was wearing a pink shirt and bunny ears. When initially confronted by the undercover officers he said he was doing great just walking around the campground helping people set up their tents and selling drugs, according to court documents.

Brahim told the undercover officers he had many different drugs for sale. When police confiscated his stash, located in a friend's car, they found more than an ounce of marijuana, four prescription pills, which he did not have a prescription for, 11 grams of "Molly" and more than $1,300 in cash, according to the police report.

A confidential informant told police that "a pink bunny" was selling cocaine, Molly and other drugs at a campsite, according to the police report.

As a part of the sentence, Grant County Judge Evan Sperline banned Brahim from attending "outdoor music festivals," according to court documents.
