Moses Lake firefighters contain diesel spill at gas station

MOSES LAKE - The Moses Lake Fire Department contained a diesel spill at the Exxon gas station at 3000 W. Broadway Ave. on Monday.

About 1 p.m. on Monday, the fire department received a call of potentially hazardous materials spilled at the Exxon.

The hazardous materials were found to be diesel spilled from a semi-truck.

The Exxon and Melva Lane were briefly closed as responders contained the spill.

The Exxon and Melva Lane were re-opened later in the day after the scene was determined to be safe.
