Jackie Yurian

| September 17, 2014 6:00 AM

Jackie (Brittain) Yurian, the heartbeat of our family, our wise & courageous mother, grandmother, & friend, was welcomed into Heaven on Saturday, September 06, 2014. She was born in Moses Lake, Washington August 23, 1961 to udy Sawyer. She graduated from Moses Lake High School. Jackie married her best friend, Richard Yurian, and worked as a caregiver in Moses Lake while raising her two handsome boys.

Jackie's personality was as vibrant as her red locks. She was confident, independent, thoughtful, generous, and always dependable. A friend to many, she will be missed dearly. As a mother, her children were blessed to have had her; her grandchildren loved her to the moon & back. She was involved in the lives & activities of her children & grandchildren, always reminding them how proud she was of them. She was the wife/mother known to support all of the family's hobbies, whether absurd or not, including car shows & mud bogs. She was the grandmother that never missed a sporting event, award ceremony, birthday party, or the opportunity to paint tiny little fingernails. Her heart was open to the unknown, befriending many. Her family's needs often took priority over her own. She enjoyed entertaining her family with meals (making green pies "just because" for a special little man in her life & presenting the annual trophy for most-weight-gained on Holidays), spoiling her dogs whom she thoroughly enjoyed, creating pottery, camping, exercising frequently, as well as horses & rodeo, a passion that stemmed from a young age. She made many amazing friends through her involvements within the community. She loved & was loved deeply.

Jackie is survived by her beloved husband: Rick Yurian; her children: Richard (Michelle) Yurian; Justin Yurian; her daughter-in-law: Valerie Yurian; her grandchildren: Ricky, Bruce, Jordan, & Cassidy Yurian; and brother: Mike Brittain. She was preceded in death by her grandparents Ross & Thora Brittain & her mother Judy Sawyer.
