Adrienne Marie Arthemise Turcotte Estes

Adrienne Marie Arthemise Turcotte Estes, 87, passed away on Saturday, September 13, 2014 at the Monroe House in Moses Lake, WA. She was born July 8, 1927 to August and Emilina Turcotte on the family farm near Rolla, North Dakota. She attended boarding school in Oakwood for her first year of high school. Then in 1943, she entered the convent as did all of her other sisters. She entered the order of the Sisters of the Presentation of Mary. She was in the convent for 19 years at which time she received her Licensed Practical Nurse Degree.

Adrienne left the convent and came to Washington, worked as a nurse and soon married the love of her life, Bobby Joe Estes on September 4, 1965 in Seattle, Washington. They had no children. Adrienne and Bobby attended Motel 6 school and were assigned to Fresno, CA and later, opened a new Motel in Sea-Tac, WA. They live in Hermiston, Oregon before coming back to Washington and settling in Wenatchee.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Joe Estes; her parents, August and Emilina Turcotte; her brothers, Omer Joseph Turcotte, Joseph Dosiethe Turcotte, Raymond Albert Turcotte, and Leo Antonio Turcotte; her sisters, Antoinette Emilina Turcotte, Arcelia Marie-Anna Turcotte (Nerpel), Alma Laura Turcotte (Barnett), (Harms) Yvonne Angeline Turcotte. Adrienne is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 :00 AM on Friday, September 19, 2014 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Wenatchee with interment following at Evergreen Memorial Park in East Wenatchee. Viewing will be held from 10:15-10:45 on Friday at the church prior to the service.
