PROJECT: To develop a 14 lot plat from six acres (currently two parcels) in the Urban Residential 2 zoning district.

Notice is hereby given that a Subdivision application and SEPA Checklist received by Grant County on August 26, 2014 from Tim Sandberg (Designated Contact: Columbia Northwest Engineering, 249 North Elder Street, Moses Lake, WA 98837), was found to be technically complete on September 8, 2014. PROJECT: To develop a 14 lot plat from six acres (currently two parcels) in the Urban Residential 2 zoning district. Thirteen lots will be approximately 14,538 sq. ft., with the remaining lot being 22,900 sq. ft. There are two existing homes (one on each parent parcel), one of which will be removed. STUDIES REQUIRED: None. LOCATION: The project site is located on the west side of Potato Hill Rd. NE, approximately 1/3 of a mile north of Goodrich Rd. NE. In a portion of Section 34, Township 19 North, Range 28 East, W.M., Grant County, WA. Parcel #s 17-0893-000 & 17-0889-000. ZONING: Urban Residential 2. PUBLIC HEARING: The proposal has tentatively been scheduled for a public hearing before the Grant County Hearings Examiner on November 12, 2014 at 12:00pm noon in the Commissioner’s Hearing Room of the Grant County Courthouse in Ephrata, Washington. CONSISTENCY STATEMENT: This proposal is subject to and shall be consistent with Grant County Code, International Building Code, and International Fire Code. Office hours: 8 am–12 noon, 1–5 pm, M-F. Comments must be submitted to the Planning Department no later than 5 pm on September 30, 2014. Comments should be as specific as possible and may be mailed, hand-delivered, or sent by facsimile. All persons, agencies, or tribes have the right to comment, receive notice, participate in any hearings, request a copy of the final decision, and/or appeal the decision as provided by law and County Code. This may be the only opportunity to comment on the above listed materials.
