Notice is hereby given that a Discretionary Use Review Application and SEPA Checklist were received on June 26, 2014 from Robert Shoemaker, PO Box 1737, Coupeville, WA 98239 (Contact: Christina Shoemaker, PO Box 1737, Coupeville, WA 98239) and was found to be Technically Complete on September 05, 2014. Grant County expects to issue a Determination of Non-Significance for this proposal and the Optional DNS Process in WAC 197-11-355 is being used. This proposal may include mitigation measures under applicable codes, and the project review process may incorporate or require mitigation measures regardless of whether an EIS is prepared. This may be the only opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposal and the proposed mitigation measures. A copy of the subsequent threshold determination may be obtained upon request. PROJECT: The Discretionary Use Permit & SEPA applications to allow the operation of a mini-storage facility in the Urban Commercial 1 zoning district of Grant County, WA. Building “A” will be approximately 5,700 sq. ft., building “B” will be approximately 5,500 sq. ft., building “C” will be approximately 6,000 sq. ft. and building “D” will be approximately 4,400 sq. ft. (BLA application #1255 to consolidate lots, will be recorded prior to approval of DUP.) ADDITIONAL PERMITS: Building Permits. STUDIES REQUIRED: None. LOCATION: The project site is located at 4347 Airway Drive NE, Moses Lake WA The property is located in a portion of Section 09, Township 19 North, Range 28 East, W.M., Grant County, WA. Parcel #17-0292-000 & 17-0272-000. ZONING: Urban Commercial 1. Required mitigation will be pursuant to UDC. Any person has right to comment, receive notice, participate in hearings, request copy of final decision, and/or appeal decision as provided by law and County Code. This may be the only opportunity to comment on above listed materials.
