Moses Lake volleyball drops match to Post Falls

POST FALLS - Moses Lake its opening match of the season to on the road against Post Falls in four sets (26-28, 25-19, 19-25, 16-25).

After playing Post Falls tight for the first two sets, the Chiefs struggled with their consistency.

"We had some really bright spots and obviously some spots we need to work on," head coach Michael DeHoog said.

Greta Hammer and Marissa Strickland led the team with seven kills each.

Hammer also recorded four blocks and six aces.

Setter Kylee McKay notched 22 assists to go along with three blocks.

Rylee Cranston and Anglea Gonchuk had two blocks each.

Moses Lake will move on to face Lewis and Clark on the road Thursday.

"We're not going to be playing perfect two weeks into the season."
