Royal City - the face of small town America

I'd like to tell you about the people of your little town. They exemplify what we've all heard small town's are about.

We were traveling from Seattle to Idaho for the holiday weekend. On Highway 26, just outside of Royal City, our car began showing signs of trouble.

Having no idea what services were available in Royal City, we blindly made the turn and ended up at the PUD building. Our first show of kindness was from the employees there, offering assistance and any information they could.

One employee even took a few minutes from his day to help us identify services in town and assist us in getting to them. Thanks Ralph and the folks at PUD.

Our next show of kindness was at the Royal City NAPA store. The very nice sales person there spent hours with us, replacing our difficult-to-install battery, testing for additional problems, and diligently working to help us identify our larger mechanical issue.

As the afternoon slowly approached evening, we were rapidly running out of time and options to resolve this latest problem. Thanks to our NAPA guy, we had our solution.

He located the needed part in Othello and a mechanic to do the work. Thanks Royal City NAPA guy.

We were fortunate to find Royal City Towing. Their offer to work overtime to get the job done that evening was more than we could hope for.

They even made our time more pleasant with a drop-off locally for dinner. Thanks, Royal Towing, for your friendliness and professionalism, and for saving our weekend. Our car is running splendidly, and I will be sure to write a review.

And lastly, we had the pleasure of a yummy dinner at Deli-sh Cafe on Highway 26 just west of town, food and friendliness that exceeded our expectations.

The residents of Royal City have renewed our faith in human kindness. Thank you, Royal City.
