Man shot in Moses Lake
At 10:53 this morning police officers encountered a suspect in the parking lot next to Guido's Pizza at 2709 West Broadway, who posed an immediate threat. The suspect was shot by officers on scene. The suspect is in stable conditon at Samaritan Hospital.
MOSES LAKE - An unidentified man is in stable condition following an incident with police officers which ended in the man being shot.
The incident occurred at about 10:53 a.m. at 2709 West Broadway, in front of Guido's Pizza, said Kyle Foreman, public information officer for the Grant County Sheriff's Office.
The man allegedly confronted officers in the parking lot and was shot when he was considered a threat. Foreman did not identify the officers or the agency that employed them.
The parking lot at the location and all of the businesses except Lep-re-kon Harvest Foods will be closed until the on site investigation is completed, Foreman said.
