MOSES LAKE - A Moses Lake man died on Sunday from injuries stemming from a Wednesday accident.

Trenton Wilson, 25, of Moses Lake, passed away because of neck and back injuries he received Wednesday morning after being ejected from his vehicle.

"Our thoughts and prayers are with the friends and family of Trenton Wilson during this difficult time," Grant County Sheriff Tom Jones said.

At 8:45 a.m. on Wednesday Wilson was traveling on Road M Northeast in his pickup truck.

According to the Grant County Sheriff's Office, Wilson was driving south when he failed to slow for a turning semi truck pulling a set of trailers.

Wilson, who was not wearing a seatbelt, lost control of his truck and was ejected after it struck and went through a power pole.

Wilson was found unconscious on the side of the road by first responders. He was flown via Medstar helicopter to Confluence Health Central Washington Hospital in Wenatchee.
