Moses Lake man in accident did not wear seat belt

MOSES LAKE - A Moses Lake man involved in a rollover crash Thursday was not wearing his seat belt.

According to the Grant County Sheriff's Office, Trenton Wilson, 25, of Moses Lake, was driving a pickup truck south on Road M northeast near Road 11 northeast.

Wilson was traveling behind Eric Zuber, 53, of Chehalis, Wash., who was driving a Kenworth truck pulling a set of trailers. As Zuber slowed down to make a right-hand turn, Wilson reportedly lost control of his vehicle while attempting to avoid the trailers.

Wilson was ejected from the vehicle as it left the road, his vehicle rolled two times before striking and going through a power pole.

Wilson was found unconscious by responders and flown to Central Washington Hospital in Wenatchee via Medstar helicopter, and remains in critical condition with life-threatening injuries.

Wilson's truck was totaled.

The Grant County Motor Traffic Unit is investigating the collision.
