Why we need to vote

| October 31, 2014 6:00 AM

Only if the American public was totally brainwashed by propaganda would it elect a President who would attempt to destroy this country. The President's greatest duty is to the protection of this country: against terrorist and military threats, against invasion by infectious diseases, against major threats to the economy and "American way of life." Only a totally uninformed public would elect (or re-elect) corrupt representatives who seek only power and wealth.

We are "one Nation under God," not separate groups divided by race, ethnic histories, and languages that can be manipulated by corrupt politicians who claim that "some one to five percent" of the population are taking "more than their fair share!"

We are a strong people who do not need government handouts, we hold our heads high because it is easy to get good jobs from companies that are not over-regulated and over taxed.

Do we have a President and Congress that have ensured our safety by ordering the borders sealed against the invasion by those who could harm our country by terrorism, importing infectious diseases, or overwhelming our social protective structures? Or have the past several years been filled with scandals?

Ah, ... Oops! Maybe it is time for informed voters to make changes!
