Royal Seniors potluck, meeting slated

ROYAL CITY - The Royal Slope Seniors will meet on Thursday, Nov. 6, at noon for their not-so-monthly potluck at the Royal City Community Center.
It's been awhile since the group gathered at the Royal City Community Center, 13702 Dodson Road South to talk about the history of the area and have a business meeting.
"We'll do that again in November," President Sharon Chesterman said. "Everyone is welcome."
Among other business, planning will begin for awarding a scholarship, or scholarships, to Royal High School graduating seniors in 2015.
"Please bring your ideas and join us," Chesterman said.
