Your neighbors and you are fortunate. As 13th District voters, you have the opportunity to support one of the best legislative candidates I've seen in a long time, and one of my best friends: Tom Dent.

Tom Dent has the experience to be effective in Olympia, and a servant's heart to represent you. For years, Tom Dent worked hard to help elect good Republican candidates to office. He served as Chairman of the Grant County Central Committee for nine years, and in other volunteer roles has worked cooperatively in Olympia with agency heads, committee chairs, and legislators.

Tom knows you deserve a representative who can work with others to find solutions for everyone, not just special interests. Tom will pour himself into the issues that matter most for 13th District: transportation, water rights, and quality schools.

Tom understands how important our transportation system is, so farm products and manufactured products can get to market. The Odessa and Kittitas water issues are complex, so it will take people who can bring people together to find solutions. That's Tom.

The Supreme Court's McCleary decision requires the state to adequately fund our education system which will cost an estimated 1 to 5 billion dollars. Do you think it's time the state finally puts our schools first in the state budget, without raising taxes? Tom does.
