Defends what is right, not popular

Wow, what is it about an election that brings out the sleazeballs, the dishonest, the bullies, the mean spirited, the hypocrites and those who act like they are still in junior high?

In the words of the late Joan Rivers, "Oh, grow up!"

Apparently when one can't beat one's opponent honestly, then it's time to bring on the personal crucifixions. Personal attacks only show me that these individuals (and/or their minions) are afraid to examine their own lives and own up to their own transgressions or have such a high and mighty opinion of themselves that they believe they are perfect and thus justified in being judge and jury of everyone else-or at least their opponent.

Of course, the red herring can work, but I would hope that any thinking individual can see through the subterfuge and realize that these people are only trying to detract from the real issues, their inexperience, ineptitude (which I saw first hand this past year when I was called for jury selection) and/or poor job performance.

Who is the only candidate who has run a clean campaign with zero personal attacks? Who is the only candidate who has run a campaign on the issues? Who is the only candidate with 30-plus years of legal experience in Grant County?

Who is the only candidate who has run his own law business? Who is the only candidate that has continually given generously of his time and money to charitable and civic organizations, causes, improvements in Grant County for over 30 years?

Who is the only candidate who has taken on really tough cases spending vast sums of his own money and time defending people because it was right, not because it was popular. Who is the only candidate taking the issues seriously instead of trying to make it a "family man" contest? Who is the only candidate overwhelmingly respected and supported statewide by lawyers, judges and law enforcement?

Garth Dano is the only answer to all those questions, and I proudly support him for prosecutor.
