Interpersonal skills are key in state rep race

| October 17, 2014 6:00 AM

I was a Grant County GOP precinct committeeman (PCO) who was barred from attending a GOP meeting by Chairman Tom Dent, under threat of trespass. It was the last straw in my participating with the Grant County GOP, and many others also quit for the same reason.

Dent's life is a history of his inability to get along with people.

As a father, husband, and member of several organizations my participation is to work together with others, offering suggestions, compromise, and solutions.

I do not see that capability with Tom Dent's personal history. That ability is essential for a 13th District state representative.

We need to elect a person who can represent us in Olympia with ideas, leadership, consideration for others, and ability to work together with others.

That person is 13th District candidate Dani Bolyard.
