VOTE ANGUS LEE

When John Knodell resigned as Grant County Prosecutor the latter part of 2008, the county commissioners had a large task on their hands. They considered all candidates thoroughly - qualifications, background, etc. The commissioners had the foresight to name Angus Lee to fill the position. This was only during the interim, until the next official election.

In November 2010, the official election was held. Angus lee was elected "our" Grant County Prosecutor by the people!

I first met the Lee's in early December 2006. Jen Lee and Nick Wallace were in the process of starting the CBU Soccer Club. My granddaughter, Jessie, loved soccer and joined with Jen Lee as her coach. This meant interacting with the Lee family a lot! We learned what genuinely nice people they are!! No phoniness!

After leaving the Marine Corp, where he was wounded and received the Purple Heart and other commendations while serving in Iraq, the Lee's were looking for a place to start and raise their family. They chose our area as they were impressed with the small town atmosphere and lifestyle. They now have three beautiful children and are totally involved with young people.

I don't know the statistics regarding the prosecutors office! But, I do know that Angus Lee is working hard to prosecute those that harm our beautiful children. Tom Jones (our sheriff) and Angus Lee are working hand in hand to curb the gang activity. They are two good men, who want a safe place, not only for their families - but ours too!
