MOSES LAKE—Moses Lake Irrigation and Rehabilitation District director Ron Covey has resigned from the district’s board of directors.
In his resignation letter, Covey said the district has made some gains and is in a much better position than it was when he initially joined the board.
“It is with that thought in mind that I now tender my resignation from the Moses Lake Irrigation and Rehabilitation District,” he wrote.
Covey’s resignation is effective Oct. 15.
