Moses Lake swimmer qualifies for regionals

MOSES LAKE - Local USA registered unattached swimmer Eric Kemper competed recently, taking first place in six events and qualifying for regionals in two events.
Kemper qualified for regionals in the 100 fly and the 200 fly. He took first place in both events with times of 1 minute, 5.44 seconds and 2 minutes, 32.75 seconds, respectively.
Regionals will be held in March in Federal Way.
Kemper also took first place in the 400 individual medley, 500 freestyle, 50 fly and mile.
He had a trio of second place finishes in the 50 freestyle, 200 freestyle and 200 individual medley. Kemper also finished fourth in the 100 breaststroke.
