Wanapum leader Rex Buck to speak to historical gathering

EPHRATA - Rex Buck, a leader of the Wanapum people, will share history and facts of the old and new heritage centers after the next Grant County Historical Society luncheon.

The Grant County Historical Society will have its regular board meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 14, at 11 a.m. at the Ephrata American Legion Post, 276 Eighth Ave NW, Ephrata.

The guest speaker following lunch and the heritage meeting will be Buck of the Wanapum Heritage Center. He will provide interesting information on the history of the soon to close Wanapum Heritage Center and the new Wanapum Heritage Center, set to open soon.
