Support for Bolyard

| October 10, 2014 6:00 AM

As you aware, the general election is fast approaching. Ballots will be dropped into the mail on October 16th. Will your vote be an informed decision, or just an off-the-cuff mark on your ballot? Or, will you set your ballot aside totally forgetting about it?

I know exactly who I am voting for! I've spent time reading, listening to speeches, attending forums. Listening and watching. The people elected this November will represent us; our freedoms, our rights, our needs. It is our American duty to be informed and select the right people for the offices at our state and national levels.

One of those candidates is Dani Bolyard of Coulee City. Running for Representative of the 13th District, Dani has served as PCO and Grant County Chair, State Committee Woman, Chair of the 2012 Convention Credentials Committee. She has served on the executive board representing the entire 4th Congressional District and Lincoln County in the 5th. But most of all, she is one of us; teaching grassroots politics state-wide, training future leaders, developing voters who know and can apply their constitution. Dani and her husband are also local ranchers of over 2000 acres in the Coulee City area. They share our concern for water, property rights and government control issues on a daily basis.

If you have not yet been able to attend any candidate forums, it's not too late. Check your community calendars. One of those events is happening in Davenport at 6:00 pm, Monday, October 13th at the park. There will be a 'Fall into Freedom' picnic hosted by the Bolyard for Rep committee; you are invited to join us and find out why Dani is the candidate to represent our large and diverse district in Olympia.
