Angus Lee serves county well

Plenty of name recognition, plus big bucks, plus lots of signs equals?

Minimal name recognition, minimal bucks, plus signs equals our Grant County Prosecutor Angus Lee.

When John Knodell resigned as prosecutor, on Jan. 9 2009, our Grant County commissioners had the foresight to name Angus Lee to fill the position. This was for the interim, until the next official election. The commissioners in naming Mr. Lee, had considered all candidates thoroughly. Qualifications, backgrounds etc - the commissioners did their job.

In November 2010 the official election was held. The people of Grant County elected Angus Lee as "our" Grant County prosecutor. I don't know all the statistics regarding the prosecutor's office, but I am reading of many prosecutions of those "creeps" that harm our children. Tom Jones (our sheriff) and Angus Lee are working hand in hand to curb the gang activity. The prosecutions of gang members is certainly a high priority for Mr. Lee and his office.

I first met Angus and his wife, Jen, in early December, 2006. Jen Lee and Nick Wallace were in the process of getting the CBU soccer club started. Our granddaughter, Jessie, loved soccer and joined. For the next several years it meant being around the Lees - as Jen was her coach. We learned what genuinely nice people they truly are. They moved to out area because they were impressed with the small town atmosphere and lifestyle. They moved here to start and raise their family. They now have three beautiful children.

You have two good men, Tom Jones and Angus Lee, who are doing an excellent job. They want a safe place not only for their families, but ours! I am the grandmother of eight in our Moses Lake schools.

Please vote for Angus Lee!
