COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AMENDMENT

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that an OPEN PUBLIC HEARING by the Park Board will be held on Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at 7:00 pm, or shortly thereafter, in the Connell City Hall located at 104 E. Adams Street, Connell, Washington regarding a 2014 PARKS & RECREATION COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AMENDMENT. This hearing will be held in accordance with Connell Municipal Code 2.20.040 & 16A.08, and State Recreation & Conservation Office (RCO) guidelines.

This hearing will specifically address the following: 1) Tot Lot Park 2) Dick Johnson Memorial Tennis Courts 3) Capital Improvement Plan 4) Heritage Park.

Additional comment of particular interest concerning the 2014 Parks & Recreation Comprehensive Plan will be welcome.

Parks Board serves in an advisory role to City Council and makes recommendation for adoption.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Connell will conduct a CLOSED RECORD HEARING on Monday, December 8, 2014 at 6:00 p.m., or shortly thereafter, in the Connell City Hall, for the purpose of considering recommendations from the Park Board for the purpose of consideration of 2014 Parks & Recreation Comprehensive Plan Amendment.

No additional testimony or evidence will be considered, only written statements and oral arguments on the record prepared by the Park Board will be considered.

Information may be examined or copies obtained at the City Hall between business hours of 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

The Public is welcome to attend this meeting. The City of Connell strives to provide reasonable access to all public meetings for individuals with disabilities. Please contact the City Clerk at least three business days prior to the date of the scheduled meeting for accommodations to be arranged.
