Get your point across

| October 3, 2014 6:00 AM

So you plan not to vote November 4th? It is reported that there are 35,936 registered voters in Grant County. Of those, only 14,254 actually voted in the most recent primary. That means that 21,682 voters couldn't be bothered with marking a ballot, putting it in the envelopes and walking to the mail box.

Some say they don't know for whom to vote. The solution to that is to not mark any of those you don't know about. Some say they don't know for what measures to vote. The solution to that is to not mark any of those. Some say one vote doesn't count. Not voting makes that a self fulfilling prophecy. Some say they are making a point about the selections available. Not voting doesn't make any point. Submitting a blank ballot says "None of the above." That does make your point.
