EPHRATA - A Moses Lake man accused of robbing a man at gunpoint when he showed up for a date with a girl he met online was sentenced to seven and a half years in prison.

Jordan Ramirez, 22, had no prior criminal convictions and told police he robbed the man by pointing a shotgun and demanding money to buy heroin and to pay for overdue rent and utility bills, according to court documents.

A woman who helped orchestrate the robbery, 19-year-old Ciarra Webb, also of Moses Lake, was sentenced to about two years in prison earlier this year, according to court documents.

The third suspect and the father of Webb's unborn child, 20-year-old Angel Avalos of Moses Lake, has yet to plea guilty to the charges, according to court documents.

According to the police report, Webb posted a photo of another woman onto a dating website and solicited a meeting with a man.

When the man showed up at the apartment she shared with Avalos and Ramirez, Ramirez pulled out a shotgun and demanded the man's wallet, according to the police report. Webb allegedly ran upstairs when the robbery began and Avalos participated in the robbery a few minutes later, according to the police report.

The group stole $400 from the man and later called the victim's cellphone, demanding he give them the personal identification number for his debit card.
