PROJECT: A Short Plat of approximately 34.84 acres in order to create four (4) lots from one existing parcel in the Rural Residential 1 zoning district of Grant County.

Notice is hereby given that a Preliminary Short Plat application received by Grant County on October 23, 2014 from Jesus Castillo (Designated Contact: Jeff Curtis, PO Box 956, Mattawa, WA 99349, 509-932-4479) was found to be technically complete on November 17, 2014. PROJECT: A Short Plat of approximately 34.84 acres in order to create four (4) lots from one existing parcel in the Rural Residential 1 zoning district of Grant County. As proposed, Lot 1 will be approximately 17.28 acres in size, and is presently vacant. Lots 2 and 3 will both be approximately 5.00 acres in size, and are also presently vacant. Lot 4 will be approximately 7.37 acres in size, and will contain an existing residence, well, and septic system. The intended use of each of the proposed lots is residential. STUDIES REQUIRED: None. LOCATION: The site address of the subject parcel is 24498 Road U SW, Mattawa, WA. The subject parcel is located approximately 1 mile west of the city limits of Mattawa, WA, and approximately 1.30 miles southwest of the intersection of State Highway 243 and Road 24 SW, and approximately 0.40 miles southwest of the intersection of Road 24 SW and Road U SW, and in the NE quarter of Section 4, Township 14 North, Range 23 East, WM, Grant County, WA (Parcel #15-0063-000). ZONING: Rural Residential 1. PUBLIC HEARING: None. CONSISTENCY STATEMENT: This proposal is subject to and shall be consistent with Grant County Code, International Building Code, and International Fire Code. All persons, agencies, or tribes have the right to comment, receive notice, participate in any hearings, request a copy of the final decision, and/or appeal the decision as provided by law and County Code. This may be the only opportunity to comment on the above listed materials.
