Esther Rosena Adolf

Esther Rosena Adolf, 86, formerly of the Royal Slope, passed away Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at Snohomish, Washington.

Esther was born April 5th, 1928 to Martin and Sophia Lapp in Wendell, Idaho. She grew up in the Yakima Valley where she met her soul mate, Philip, at church where he would wink at her while ushering.

Philip and Esther happily farmed and raised their family on the Royal Slope for several years. They were a God-fearing family and instilled in their children high morals and a strict work-ethic.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Philip, her parents, two brothers and three sisters.

She is survived by her three daughters - Barbara (Byron) Perdue of Monroe, Wa., Judy (George) Schwartz of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Susan (Lee) Hall of Moses Lake, Washington; eight grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren, all of whom loved her dearly. She will be missed.

A graveside service was held today, November 18, 2014 at Reservation Community Memorial Park by Wapato, Washington.

In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church -9225 212th St. S.E. Snohomish, Washington 98298, of which Esther was a member.
